Which Covid Vaccine/booster Did You Get?

A MyPrurigoTeam Member asked a question šŸ’
Kalamazoo, MI

Many have pointed out that they started symptoms or broke out with lesions after Covid vaccine. Which version did you get? Maderna or Pfizer?
Also, did you have a surgery or invasive procedure before or after 1st vaccine?

The only thing a vaccine can do is contribute to our overtaxed immune system to possibly aggravate our condition or be a catalyst for its inception but not a cause, PN has been around a long time, I believe even related to leprosy, a vaccine, a bite, a scratch, laundry soap or the blue cheese you eat, the fabric you wear, just may be the comorbidity to set up camp for PN, Prurigo Nodularis does not not dance alone.

I had COVID so bad that I wasn't admitted in the hospital for 10 days. I was so sick with every symptom that I almost was put on a vent. Then I had both Pfizer vaccines. I asked this question because that really messed with the immune system. For me it has to be related. I have never had any issues like this until after all of this COVID stuff.

I was diagnosed a few years before Covid, I have had both vaccines as well as others for flu etc and saw no change in my symptoms for better for worse following any vaccine or booster. I have altough heard throught the years, some people erupt from an injection of any kind, surgery, thorn scratch or mosquitoe bite, mine was from a buckthorn bush 5 years ago, battling it ever since. It is autimmine related and usually with an underlying comorbidity. I finally discovered I am nighshade intolerant and eliminating those foods has helped tremendously as well as limiting any high histamine foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, smoked foods ( this makes me cry) but it has helped reduce flare ups tremendously. Everyone's comordity is different and maybe hidden in a consistant routine and to find it is a process of elimination, but there is usually something that breaks the camels back to initiate our initial response with the bumps from hell and we labour to put it back into remission, there is no cure. Topicals and photo therapy help symptoms but its source is systemic inside our bodies with inflamation from from our body attacking itself;our largest body organ becomes the tertiary response eliminator with collateral damage from a body at war with itself, like grief it demands release and it will come out somewhere.
