Well said. Not everyone is the same or heals the same. This site is for helpful learning and sharing, as well as positivity helping all of us. There is sharing between us, as well as learning from Drs and experts who do know about PN, and things to help us all. Please just take a moment and smile, just because... It helps me get thru a moment sometimes!

I am so sorry you feel that way about whoever it is you are addressing that to .
But just let me start with how it really goes for me I started getting very painful sore went to two dermatologist the first one was crap . The second one did do a biopsy and confirmed that I had PN . But I wanted to know why
And if you read any of these articles on this site you will see you will need a series of blood test and if no results then patch testing is the way to go .
So I have had it all and the patch testing confirmed what I was allergic to and now for the next 6 weeks . I am going to eliminate and use my safe list to see what helps and what doesn’t.
And I am glad that duprixent works for you , but it does not work for everyone . This site is for others to learn and maybe cope with what they may or may not have .
So please don’t post anything negative. It’s just not worth it .
If you are having a bad day and need to vent or get anything out I am sure there is enough of us on here that will help you .
That is why they make these sites so that others can join and help.

Duprixent did not help me either so he stopped me from taking .. thank you lord !!!i hated those shots !! Well I don’t want to give up my tea that is for sure . It’s so just crazy at my age and out of the blue your skin can just turn into all these painful sores and with medicine the way it is they can’t just figure out what we can do for relief. It just blows my mind .

I had the patch test done several months ago before I went on Dupixent, but the things I was allergic to was not creating my allergies as feathers, different types of trees, & chocolate which I am not willing to give up, LOL! I learned through the use of the sporins such as Neosporin, Poly, etc. that they no longer worked for me on sores and cuts on my body. Never did use on place where my PN is, my scalp, plus I learned also on some of the ingredients in shampoo what would set it on fire, or the one that I can only use which is Neutrogena Therapeutic T-Gel w/Salicylic Acid. Oh found out I was allergic, not patch test that the antibiotic Bactrim DS which was for the lesions and sores on my scalp as I broke out in hives! YIKES! BTW, Dupixent did not work for me to give me any type of relief as I know w/this horrific rare disease there is no cure, hmm!! Grrrr!

Sorry ladies you are not understanding what Purigo Nodularis can’t be detected by an allergy patch . You need a biopsy to tell . Dupixent works for me.My be your Doctor isn’t smart enough to take a biopsy. You ladies don’t know what you have you just like to complain Renee
