I was diagnosed with this disease one year ago and my Dermatologist prescribed steroids and a wonderful cream, Triamcinolone Acetonide, USP for my skin which helps in healing and itching very well!! You can get it in a lotion also and I'll guarantee you it's a miracle worker for me. I rub it on at least three or more times a day to keep the itching down! It's great is all I can tell you. So ask your Dr for a script and you will be happy you did! Good luck and God bless!πŸ™

Im sorry! I know how absolutely miserable this can be. On my legs I use a lidocane spray thats also medicated. And this will work.. If you wake up in the night, use it again. On my face at night when its bad I use calamine lotion. Also, keep a package of babywipes, facial wipes beside you always..The coolness of the wipe and just the cleansing without touching with your hands and nails is important! hope this helps

And the lidocaine spray instantly cools it too, which is nice, no ice pack needed.

Mine Are Not Nodules. They Start Flat Dry Scales. If You Pick The Scale Off Which Is Easy As The Skin Seems Thin. Then Is A Ulceration.
