Married 28 yrs and my husband passed away from cancer. Now in a new relationship. I panicked about someone seeing me with my scars. He doesn’t seem to mind and makes me feel beautiful!

Th
Thank you Tina for the info on Rinvoq and Dupixent. My immune system is quite impoverished which concerns me in regards to taking meds that deplete it further. But I'm willing to try just about anything if I can get relief fr the itch and scratch cycles. At one point my psychiatrist, who used a compounding pharmacy, wrote up a compound of 5ingredients including anti-itch, anti-inflammatory, nerve pain inhibitor, and 2more. It was a topical lotion. My pn remitted completely for a year and then it stopped working.
So long for now and thanks much for pointing me in a new direction!.
Peace & love to you & yours.....Christine

I have been in a relationship of over 50 years of martial bliss (LOL)!! I knew this dude since I was 13, but way too young to date so I was definitely infatuated and/or in Heat, ha, ha! He ended up w/a high school sweetheart who was one of my grade school friends. I married what I thought was the next best thing at 18 which was a huge mistake! My present husband, & myself divorced our first ones, & I married him when I was 24 and he was 26! Found out definitely most relationships are not fairy tales. I always was burdened with something like tough pregnancies, the dreaded PMS, then the Change, & was a working mother for 37 years. At age 55 retired & thought my life was going to be somewhat normal trying to enjoy my retirement, but when I turned 60 one month after having Shingles I got this crap! Since then been diagnosed w/PTSD (War of Life), OCD, etc. So this horrible rare, uncurable PN w/LSC of the scalp has definitely affected my quality of life, & now with old age ailments & this, I think I finally convinced him that it really was all in my head (scalp) as you think you are crazy, & no medical treatments out there to relieve the constant dark cloud over you dealing with this! He now too has some major health problems way worse than mine, & it takes a lot of understanding and patience to enjoy just everyday life now! It can totally take a toll on your life and relationships! Sorry TMI! 🥴
