I open them up too. Doctors hate that. But it really does heal them faster as long as you keep them clean and sterile and covered.

Thank you. Actually I can't complain compared to a lot. I get very few sores and probably not those if I wouldn't pick. I have had a few nodules, hip, back of neck. The itch is moves, not often does the white bump pop up. My first outbreak though, 2 years ago I was covered with sores, not a square inch on my back and itched all over. Scary. Didn't let up until I had a shot of cortisone. The nodules on my hip were terrible though. I opened them up, how much more can it hurt? I poured alcohol, doctor had a fit, but they went away. It is localized, shoulders, hairline now. I pray for those that have it bad. It's devastating.
