You can find out a lot of valuable information about this horrific disease on You Tube.........Prurigo Nodularis. Check the Healthy Skin Show, Prurigo Nodularis How to Stop that Crazy Itch by Jennifer Fugo. This was done 6 months ago and is the latest and greatest I have researched about PN as the author interviews Dr. Shawn Kwarta, Johns Hopkins Hospital, who is with their Dept of Dermatology. He with his team are the ones that started the study on PN in 2015. The 8 Dermas that I have seen should check this out as maybe they might learn something! It is so informative and so interesting. You will not be disappointed whatsoever w/hope on the horizon, no cure, but treatment specifically for PN!.🥰

Carla I so agree with you about our thoughts. Sometimes I will wonder how long it would take me to die if I just stopped eating!!!!!! It has been 2 weeks since hip replacement and felt a lot of anxiety having to wash all over with this anticeptic, antimicrobial and none of my oils and lotions after!!! Did that night before and in AM. At first felt a bit dry but not like I thought I would. Would you believe it no itching, burning, biting feeling and minimal lotions!!! It is now my body soap. Creams and lotions are back on and last night I had a bit of the itching. The soap is Hibiclens. It comes in a pump of foam
And a liquid soap which is what I got.,32oz at Amazon. Hospital sent me home with a small bottle of the foam!!

Hello its Mary Lou from Toronto 🍁
My dermatologist prescribed this strong steroid cream called Taro-Clobetasol and it really really helps
Doesn't elimanate or cure PN but does provide temporary relief from the severe itchiness
I'm in Canada so not sure if its available in other countries❤️
Good luck and wishing you all success in this frustrating journey which doesn't just affect us phydically but mentally and emotionally as well
Take care
Bye for now

Possibly Gotucream as I have seen several team members post that! I have been so tempted to try and buy it, but tired of all the scripts, over-the-counter products that do not work for me, UGH!

BTW, Gotucream got my PN flaring worse!! I swear to God nothing works, so please FDA approve new drug specifically to treat PN as it would be great to feel somewhat better before I croak! UGH how long did the Cancer drugs take before approved? IMO, this disease can definitely cause suicidal thoughts as it can be that devastating as most of you know! ANDELE, ANDELE, CHOP, CHOP FDA!
