Is There Anyone Diagnosed With PN Impacting The Scalp? Has There Been A Treatment You've Uncovered That's Been Successful In Managing Same?
Carla, i’ve tried these 2 products(from Amazon).
1) MG217 (3% sal. acid) medicated moisturizing psor. cream
2) Nizoral pre-shampoo scalp buildup remover (contains ketoconazole)
The Nizoral is sort of an exfoliant, with little bits of sandiness. The MG217 is a cream you might want to use when you have any burning sensation. i leave products on for awhile, 1-3 hrs. But you should do what your comfortable with 😊
Hope this helps.
I was prescribed Zoryve… meh…
I have it on my scalp but it started on my right arm. When that cleared up somehow it transferred to my scalp. I try various natural creams overnight after a worsening with ones prescribed with cortisone. They relieve temporarily but of course you have to wash it out next day!
I use Demarest which is a shampoo/conditioner that helps for awhile and alternate with Salon Aveda deep moisturizing shampoo and conditioner concentrating on the scalp and leaving it to soak in for awhile. It gives relief the longest and softens as well as getting rid of the dry feeling. There products are easy on hair and scalp but I'm in Canada so not sure if you can get it in the states. Does anyone know?
I don't understand why my arm cleared up basically with antibiotics but it took a long time and as I said above it went to my scalp!! Uuuugh!
Thank you so much as I have found nothing has truly given me relief, but the MG217 I will have to check it out as I have spent lots of money on useless treatments, but I am in the desperation mode, so I appreciate your response so very much! 🦋
Lynne5 could you please tell me the brand of psoriasis cream you use? BTW, I can only use the Neutrogena w/Salicylic Acid too! Thx!🦋
Has Anyone Got Them On Their Scalp And Face Yet??
Is There Any Way To Get Rid Of Bumpy Scabs And White Centers That Just Hang On? Has Anyone Tried Scar Removal Cream?
This Is A Comment. I Had Felt As If I Was Making Progress On My Scalp With Dupixent And Using Topicals. Then…
