I also had mild conjunctivitis which cleared up quickly without further meds. Muscle cramps. The deal breaker for me though, was a cross of my asthma &COPD, it made me not able to breath, not in, not out. After the 2nd time and 13 months on it, I was done. My understanding is it's good for asking asthma, but if you also have COPD, I would definitely talk to the Dr more thoroughly.
It was amazing when I started it for about 8-10 months. It stopped the itch, and lesions were healing.

I got 1 eye infection and no herpes within the first couple of doses and that’s it. If Dupixent can help you, the downside of an occasional eye infection - which is easily and rapidly treated - might be worth it. Most side effects of new meds dissipate after a short while. My suggestion is to bite the bullet for a few months and give Dupuxient a fair chance. There are so few effective treatments out there for PN. Best of luck!

My dermatologist in Florida said many patients were getting eye infections and sores around their mouths. There were more bad side effects but she didn't go into detail other than to tell me she won't prescribed Dupexient anymore.

Hi Karen
I'm seeing a dermatologist for the past month and shes trying to get me approved for the biological immune suppression injections but the bi weekly shots arent coverd u under our Provincial health plan OHIP which covers most medical things like appointments surgeries etc but doesnt cover these injections unfortunately and I understand they are quite expensive
In Canada the Health care system is quite good but some medu actions and services arent covered. So keeping my fingers crossed she get approval for me soon than later as the steroid creams only work so good not complete remission
Fingers crossed I get approved soon
My family doctor had no idea what it id7
