Does Anyone Know How To Treat The Spots That Are Harden Skin And Very Painful? The Skin Eventually Dries And Peels Away But Comes Back Hard.

Hello
I'm Mary Lou from Toronto Ontario Canada
I know its terrible -- a terrible nasty disease for sure -- the itch is terrible , it looks terrible and makes you feel terrible --especially when the nodules then scabs, then scars appear all over your body -at least in my case The nodules look like mini volcanoes in my opinion lol with the opening spout on top of the Mountain where you expect some lava lol or disgusting puss oozes out
It's so disgusting U hate it as I'm sure you all do obviously 😱
It is also terribly socially embarrassing
I cant wear shorts or short sleeves and it's getting very hot and humid in Toronto now🍁
The only place I haven't had them on my scalp hopefully never.
Hopefully the main thing is the specialists and researchers keep investigating what the heck causes it and maybe if were lucky find if not a cure at least some universal medication that can cause the main symptoms of the disease to subside and possible go into remission
Wouldnt that be a miracle
Insulin helps diabetics most everyone with diabetes , so maybe just maybe somewhere down the road - hopefully sooner than later they will discover a specific cause of PN and some treatment other than steroid creams which does help somewhat but the nodules just keep reappearing all over the place
Take care
Bye for now from Canada❤️
Hi Robin~ It sounds like the scar tissue I have in different stages. One in particular looks a lot like an old 'B' rated sci-fi movie! I have been trying to remember to put my bio oil on it, that is it's name. It hydrates and supposed to help scar tissue. It does, when I remember, and until it reinvents in to a different kind of bump/lesion.
On a bad note, I have unintentionally pulled it clean off, which made it bleed like heck, and finally healed, but in to a smaller scar. No, I am not suggesting to rip it off. I am just pointing out that there are so many different kinds of bumps/lesions, as well as just because it heals into a scar, does not mean it is done, only that stage.
Clobetasol ointment will help me up to a point. Once it is completely scar tissue, it doesn't seam to help me alot.
I Am Finding Like A Little White Core In Sores. Anyone Else? I Know We Are Not To Pick But The Sore Doesn't Go Away Until The Core Is Gone.
Has Any Notice That Your Sore Come Back In The Same Spots Mine Seem To Heal And Then A Few Months Go By And They Are Back . Any Thoughts?
I Have Several Big Sores. I Don't Like Opening Them But Do Any Of You Have Experience With Them? Will They Go Away By Themselves?
