Why Do All Of The Dermatologists I See Send Me To Other Drs And Then They Send Me Back To The Dermatologist?? Why Am I On A This?
One derm says I have Prurigo others say no. I’ve even been to infectious disease dr. and they send me back to the derm? What? Why? I do not understand?!!!
Did you have a punch biopsy? Have you taken a sample of whatever is coming out of the nodules to a physician to be analyzed by a laboratory? I would take a clean container, put the material from the nodule in it and take it to the dermatologist. What may look like a worm may actually be an exudate from the nodule(mucous strand or something else). It needs to be seen by someone! If it were me, I would start with the dermatologist.

@A MyPrurigoTeam Member Worms is typically not directly associated with PN, that I know of. That is usually something else that is curable.
Breath..... From what I can find, for worms you need an infectious disease Dr. If you saw one and they sent you back to Dermo, perhaps there is something on your electronic chart? If not, call them and ask them.
