The itchiness is most present at night. Sometimes I really feel hot and sweaty at night as well. My physician told me that these symptoms may be related to the dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is responsible for temperature regulation.

The energy loss is a drag. In my case, oh, no, another day of this misery. And then I really start to itch. It's a vicious cycle. I don't have much during the night, just some stings. That causes the fatigue too. I hope something changes soon. Bless you all!

Thanks all! I am concerned, Xanax and gabapentin. And the doctors don't look to see what will go with what. I just am so tired of this all! Stress!

Cynbalta and gabapentin are two different types of drugs. They are classified differently. Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant which is also used to treat nerve pain; Cynbalta is a serotonin norepinephrine re-up take inhibitor which has also been approved for fibromyalgia.
