Good morning all, just reading through your posts… I can relate to what everyone is saying. I was offered the shot in my butt, and replied no thanks; I’m already on a cocktail of meds for… Well, being a woman in my late 50s. 😂
Anyhow, I’m sitting on my balcony, drinking coffee with only two nodules on my Back as I write this. Phototherapy
Has given me my life back. In addition, because it tans you, the scars are not very noticeable at all. I’m not a leper anymore! I know that as the darker months come the itching will start creeping across my skin and I’ll have to intensify my phototherapy schedule. It’s becoming quite costly with the co-pays so I will purchase a planet fitness membership for $25/month to fill in the gaps per se if anyone would like more information on the phototherapy process, I’d be happy to explain. I know some people have stated that humidity and sweat are troublesome; however, with the UVB bulbs, you can use the fan! The UVB rays help me completely… I understand everyone is different, but if you haven’t tried it, please do. I tried both planet fitness and zoom tan (bulbs not as effective and costs more).
Oh, and after 58 years, my boobs are finally tan!😂

I call these spots ‘Satan’s spots’ because they are so awful. They itch before they arrive; they itch and hurt when they’d there; they can reappear when you think they have gone; they can become ulcerated; they crust over and the scabs don’t want to fall off; they leave scars that won’t go away. What more can I say?
My spots also contain something like skin debris which no one else has mentioned - so I don’t know if that is just peculiar to me?
These truly are Satan’s spots! I can’t imagine anything worse in terms of spots. 🙀

Maggie in Minnesota. Most embarrassing was open lessons on my arms and working with public gave me anxiety! With Dupixant I have dried up but the scares are there. It was a long journey to discover what was wrong with me. I call my bathroom CVS no joke I tried everything. I would rather have scars than itch and scratch all the time. Then the bleeding and open soars was the worst. Thank you PN friends for being out there to speak to! Maggie
