❤️ I’ve seen 4 derms and 4 GPs, a rhumatologist and an eye doctor🤷‍♀️… my next option is to find money to pay for a derm to do a skin scrape WHEN I’M IN A FLARE - getting an appt to see see someone during a flare is going to be the hardest part…

Stella, don't give up! How about trying another dermatologist? You're worth it! It took almost a year to work through possible diagnoses. The punch biopsy was the definitive answer. I was getting frustrated with the whole process but I'm glad I stuck it out.

Using listerine gold (that one specifically) helped me like crazy! It hurt at first so I never would count a specific time limit but would just swish as long as I could then spit. But I was having severe mouth sores (5-10 at a time) and since I’ve been doing that 2-3X daily, I rarely get them anymore. Also for any existing sores, I use Canker but fair warning, it stings a ton and doesn’t last super long so it’s not my favorite. I’d def reccomend the listerine over the canker

I have a really dry mouth as a result of Sjogren's disease. When I experience blisters or gum irritation, I use Peroxyl. It's healing and soothing. Plus I use an over the counter anaesthetic gel too. Another option is to contact your dentist or primary care. There are prescription medications for this as well. Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Stella! By any chance, have you met with an optometrist or opthalmologist regarding the dry eye situation? As I've said many times before, I have Sjogren's. Dry eyes are part of that. I have punctal plugs and use a variety of eye drops. Please go check it out! Untreated dry eyes can possibly cause problems for you! Good luck!
