Happy new year!

Oh, thank you Cathy924 for your caring and compassion. I am almost wondering if I have had it along as none of the 8 Dermas would go through my scalp with their hands and fingers, but 9th one finally did at my last appointment, No biopsy w/a diagnosis evidently was needed for 16 years so possibly it was finally visible by going through the rest of my scalp which IMO is unfrickin' unbelievable. I mean the 8th Derma blurted out Seborrheic Keratosis before taking the last 2 of the 4 biopsies I have had! I mean he did put me on some antifungal oral meds for a couple of weeks & seen no improvement, so I assume that is why the last 2 biopsies were taken to finally find out it was PN and LSC. Well, my present Derma prescribed a fairly new script called Zoyre Foam for the SD which I put in for the Patient Assistant Program, otherwise, would cost me $800 a month out of pocket, UGH! So, sent required application & denied because I made $300 a year too much on my income.....geez give be a break. So spoke to my secondary insurance company & and was told if I had rec'd a discount type card by the manufacturer it would cover 80% so cost would be approx $250 a month out of pocket so my holiday season wasn't very jolly. I did contact Derma as my pharmacy said to request an alternate type which she has not got back with me. I am sure it is one with steroids which my scalp doesn't do well on. I finally accepted the disappointment and just kind of ironic that the Nemluvio had no problem with allowing me zero cost. I am trying to be positive and realize for the short time of my long life I will just have to deal with it all, and think I guess it was not meant to be. Things could always be much WORSE I understand, but with the new year I am trying to just accept things that you cannot change! BTW, I do wish you a very, very Happy New Year, and continue enjoying that lil granddaughter! Grandchildren are such a blessing. I have 3 Great Grandchildren which I don't get to see that often. I learned that we have the bitter to be able to appreciate the sweet in our lifetimes! 👼❤️

Isn't it beyond amazing that there are physicians that are knowledgeable but at times are so difficult to find! Hugs to you, Carla for being so persistent! It shouldn't have been as difficult as it was though!

Hugs to you Carla 🫂. You still manage to stay positive, to be with your grand & great grand, I am so happy for you in that manner. You have much family closeness and love. Healthcare can suck , to be blunt.
