PN in my state of Ohio is not listed as a disability. Mental illness is.

I am retired but bless you all that are working. I don't know if I could with all this itching. I hope you get some luck.

I applied for disability about a year ago and I listed it on mine, but it's one of many things I have going on. They are 90% done, I have a shrink appointment on Thursday and that will be it. So we shall see, I'll let you know.

In California I had applied in 2007 for the Fibromyalgia and was denied. I had eczema (I was diagnosed at that time.) But in hindsight I'm sure now it was PN.. How ever the doctors didn't know much about the rare skin disease then.

I applied for permanent disability again in 2020 was denied twice again. Now I have an attorney and an upcoming court hearing in August for the Fibromyalgia and Major Depression.

My attorney didn't want to include the PN as the main cause of the disability probably because he's not educated on the PN. But IT IS DISABLING!
