I’m just not a sit in the bath person. I have a nice whirlpool bathtub that I even put it in line heater in and a handheld shower. Still don’t get the darn thing. Will try the bleach spray and he also gave me a new lotion to try. Went to a functional integrative Healthcare provider and they have done a lot of tests. They think I may have it auto immune situation with my liver so we are going to look at that. This has been going on for two years. I would like an answer, but really don’t want to have autoimmune hepatitis.

Works for me too! But, I'm not a bath person either..So, when I have super itchy spots, I use a bottle and mix 4 parts water 1 part bleach. I wet a napkin or cloth with it and just blot the area...works so good!

Excuse me, I am thinking out loud. Bleach is made from chlorine. Chlorine is in swimming pools. Has anyone noticed improve after swimming? My husband just told me salt water pools use Bromine.

Yes have and do. I did not the first few years because of a small inadequate tub and did not like the idea of it. last year I got a big therapy tub and can sitin it, so I thought to try again because I read on here of a woman who had great success when she did it 3 days in a row as recomended by a derm. So I did with the new tub. It helped a whole lot! Now I am down to 1 x week for 25 minutes, it really helps stop new ones getting bigger and completely going away and helps reduce old large ones. It kills all the bacteria causing secondary infection and a good time to apply steroid cream and or good oil to moisturize following the bath,( I use neem oil/ castor oil/vitamin E) but nothing commerical that has lots of chem ingrediants. Then wrap area with saran wrap and leave on for about 8 hours. On my legs I then put compression stockings over the wrap to help penetrate better and the temptation to pick is removed which helps as well, I am now even skipping a week but its a major tool in my tool box for PN.
