Absolutely! Heat and humidity are not good factors for symptoms of PN.

Sitting outside in warmer weather and humid in Binghamton, NY the past two days, I've had some itching, and creepy crawly nerve sensations in my face again.

Need to get the shots. Waiting to bring German doctor diagnosis slip and script for Dulipimab shots to NY doctor in a couple weeks.

Want to avoid the shots, but it'll be warmer and I'd rather not get the crazy stinging and needle like sensations like the last four summers.

I started using Cocunut oil. It helps keep my skin smoother.

Have a great day/week all. Stay cool..Use plenty of olive oil in your cooking, too.

Hi Colin
Its Mary from Toronto
We haven't had any humidity yet that usually starts in Jine or July
I guess you are further south in New York
I know the sun helps my psoriasis but this will be my first summer with the PN
I have been getting some sun the past several days so far so good but I don't know it it helps the PN yet
Time will tell
According to this group sun works for some people and not for others
Just like the different medications
We are all different for sure
My dermatologist told me to use plain old fashioned vaseline for moisturizing between steroid cream applications
It seems to work well
I also read if you apply olive oil and then put the vaseline top of it it traps in the moisturizing properties of the oil.
We all have to try different things and see what works for each of us individually 😊
Take care
Have a good evening

Yes, I am doing the "guess what I can wear and do today" show! Today was lovely, sorry of. I was able to mow front and back yards, with a hat and garden gloves on. My hands are still healing from the 2nd degree burn from sun a couple months ago... Taking a med for my rosacea, and it says sensitivity, but, I burned and it didn't show as such until 2 days later, and only on my hands, and I was only in sun about 10 minutes! So, lesson learned, if on that med, I'm allergic to the sun while on it! Sheesh!
I hate being a captive to my medical conditions.
I am so grateful to have you to chat with! I must admit, the picture with the little one brighten my days, Thank You!
