Has Anyone Tried Capsaicin On Their Scalp Pn
I know this sounds cray, cray or comparable to the song, "Light My Fire"......but in 2018 after dealing w/this unknown rare disease I asked my PCP about going on Dupixent, & he basically said no! I wondered why thinking this was possibly my much-needed relief! He originally diagnosed me with Neurodermatitis which after all the Dermas I had been to with their guesses, this disease was the closest to what I was experiencing. If you truly have PN, and your doc will not put you on Dupixent, find another dermatologist!
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted Galderma's Biologics License Applications for nemolizumab for the treatment of patients with prurigo nodularis and for adolescents and adults with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. Nemolizumab was granted U.S. FDA Priority Review for prurigo nodularis.
I tried the Capsacian on some spots, and it made a burn go deeper and hotter... so, for me, it is a big no!
I call it 'Nemo'...lol
Only thing that has helped the scalp is a good massage with teatree oil. I am see my doctor soon about the new drug. We will see!
I seen an Allergist & asked to be put on it! I was on it 16 weeks, & nuttin' honey! UGH
In High School We Used Salicitic(sp) Acid To Draw Out Pimples. Anyone Use It On Pn?
