My dermatologist informed me that surgical removal if not feasible. She told me that she could inject the nodules on my scalp if the nodules weren't widespread. It is a journey to find what combination of prescriptions and OTC medications will work. Cryotherapy may be an option. I suggest a consultation with a board certified dermatologist familiar with PN.
