So If You Succeed In Not Touching Or Scratching (difficult) Scalp Sores Does It Actually Heal Them?? In Theory Does That Work?

In theory, yes, if you don't scratch or pick at them, the cycle of itch/scratch is supposed to be interrupted. However, in my experience, it takes a very long time for them to heal. I think the NAC has helped me to break the cycle although I wish I never had ON in the first place.

What else has the dermatologist recommended? NAC supplement has really helped with the itchiness. I hope Dupixent works for you!

I found that visualization works. When I want to itch/scratch, I visualize my dermatologist's face and the urge stops! I know that sounds funny but it's working for me!

I don't know why my hair isn't falling out but I am on bioidentical hormones which I think helps..as well as thyroid medication for hypothyroid

NAC is also known as N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine. My dermatologist recommended it to help stop the itching associated with PN. I purchased the Nutracost brand which is vegan. It can be purchased on Amazon. The recommended dosage is 600 mg twice a day. It has really helped me.
