Hello from Toronto π
That is one of the main questions I have 4 my dermatologist next time I visit her in person soon
As the scars the PN nodules leave behind when they do eventually/ finally disappear ((hopefully 4 good) R another major problem obviously
We cant hide our skin unfortunately & the PN was embarrassing enough & now the scars they leave behind arent nice either
I have some scars that R white patches ( hypopigmention I think its called) & others R like moon craters? Very strange
To me the nodules looked like little volcanoes wating 2 erupt & now some scars R like moon craters - yikes
I feel like a National Geographic experiment - volcanoes & moon craters lol
Take care everyone
Have a good week
I am scared very badly on my arms especially. But no more active nodules! So I'll suffer with ugly arms. It's better than suffering from people judging me and hating myself.......
I use mederma .You can find it on the internet.
I don't know what was mentioned here, but cica-care is used by some physician's offices. Scar Away is also a silicone cream you could get at the drugstore.

Unfortunately that is a question that only a dermatologist would B able 2 answer I think as not scratching is almost unavoidable
Is your scalp the main location of your nodules? No place on the body is good but the scalp must B agonizing 4 sure
Did U ever find an answer 2 this question U posted back in August?
Did your doctor recommend any specific cream 4 you?
PN is most definitely a rare nasty awful horrible terrible mysterious mystery embarrasing itchy disease 4 sure
More research definitely needs to be done for sure especially as 2 what even causes / triggers it in the first place as it is so unusual & rare
Take care
Bye 4 now
