No Question But An Awesome Answer......NEMO Found Now Approved (as Per Tina)!
I think that an accurate biopsy specimen is key to the diagnosis. In my case the dermatologist searched multiple areas of my skin looking for an appropriate lesion to biopsy. They wanted a lesion that was crusted over. The punch biopsy was performed and there it was! I think proper technique leads to a correct diagnosis especially since the disease is rare.
YEAH, FOR SURE it is not a psychiatric issue for us PN sufferers! Another mind-blowing misdiagnoses from the so-called skin specialists! I mean I know for a fact that after having this for a lengthy time it can cause you to go BONKERS because experts think it is the "Picker's Disease" ......so cut your nails & see a psychotherapist or a psychiatrist! We itch because it feels so good, and we love the burning, stinging, pain, and non-healing sores & oh definitely the scarring! Also, creating us to be self-conscious & not even wanting to leave our homes as it is horrific and horrible looking! BTW, the 8 Dermatologist and 1 Allergist barely looked at mine on my scalp acting like I have Leprosy or Cooties!! Hmmm get a clue skin specialists & do your homework! Grrrrrr!
Carla, feel free to email me at any time! You know, I'm thinking that it may be a good idea to do that survey. My thoughts being you are not the only person who experienced this unacceptable level of care. Your review could probably help someone from having the same disappointing experience. Plus it could as signal a problem to the university especially if others have posted similarly.
PN is not a physiatric ,issue😬
Can the doctors not C the nodules,,???
I too am excited to question my Dermatologist on Nemluvio.
I read about it and saw photos of how it improved patients in the trials.
