Any Adverse Reactions To The Dupixent Injection?
My first loading package arrives next Thursday and I'd really like to know what I might expect...I'm very anxious.
Yeah sometimes the PN will
Develop in a new area … it’s in your blood so it can pop up anywhere … a family member that always shows up not invited 😂
And I agree the PN acts up when the shit is around the corner … ugh the struggle
There is good info on this strain, thank you all! I am understanding that a lot of us are similar in our bodies responses. As to the shots, I HATE needles, but worth it to help with PN! I have gone one thigh to next is best for me, tho it hurts like HEii! My stomach didn't hurt, but I had a hellashish bruise for over a month.
As to food, my hunger for chocolate is my cripto... But, I have found that since I have cut my dairy down to small amounts of butter, almond milk instead of cows (yes I love milk, but..) and instead of dairy ice cream, Talenti Mango! It's non dairy, and my Maine coon 2 year old shares my love of mango!
With dupixent things are much better, tho not gone. I bruise easier, never know what day my skin will be like, and I am noticing my muscle spasms are getting worse... I have medical history that's not kind and don't go away. I am learning to adjust, and I don't get comfortable if I go anywhere, the temperature, humidity, loud things... I guess I have gone jumpy about ALOT more things, and if I'm at home I can control ALOT of them most of the time, get nervous or mad, then I get itching, and the endless cycle begins..
Hadn’t thought about the shot affecting me like that but battle with depression so thought I was just having some bad days
Just did 4th injection on Monday??
Will start in June
I started duplexin in February 23rd … second shot March 9th, third shot March 23rd ..
My 4th shot was this Thursday … April 6th
So the shot is basically every 2 weeks I have it scheduled on my iCal. As a reminder …
It gets better … I started taking the pen shot on my leg .. but it hurts every time so on my 55) shot which is April 20th I’m going to try it in my stomach .. because taking it on my thighs hurts .. like a mofo .. so def going to try another injection area on my body … because regardless … I will be on this shot… it’s controlled the itching .. the pain and stinging .. but the body fights the duplexin and yes the itch does come back but goes away.. for me at this point it’s a touch and go situation for me … that’s why I am really considering in June taking the shot ones a week.
Yes I was born and raised in Brooklyn … live on the UWS of Manhattan with my husband …
And what’s helped is cutting certain foods that activate the itch or nodules …
And I’m stubborn about that… I go back to ice cream and chocolate which I know it makes my itch …
I love chocolate but chocolate don’t love me back 😂😂😂
I do the epi shots. My brother likes the syringe. He has no issues giving it in his thigh. For me the thigh and arm shots burned. (Also if the medicine is cold it could burn so I take mine out of fridge night before or in morning). Anyway I started giving it in my stomach and did not burn. Sometimes I think 14 days is too long. My brother had it much worse and said he felt relief after 1st shot!
I Was Just Told It's Going To Cost $1,100 A Month For Dupixent.
Has Any One Visited An Immunologists?? I Keep Going To A Dermatologist.
Not Sure If This Is Allowed, But Just For Fun.....What Is Your Sign (Zodiac AKA Astrological)?
