Hi Jimmie, these can come and go on different parts of your body, some which may be the same area as before or a totally different part.

I also have found wherever I have broken skin, a lesion forms, even when it is a mosquito bite, that will turn into a hard bump lesion and then take forever to heal, just like all the other PN. I have been staying indoors on hot days, I go out first thing in the morning for a walk, some light exercise, then back inside before it's too hot. I have noticed the air this summer is much heavier and unpleasant, and we haven't had much fire smoke in the CA central valley like previous years. But chemtrail spraying all the time and I imagine what they are putting in the air is making it heavy and unpleasant even though we've had little to no humidity. When my breakouts are really raw, I soak in the bath in epson salts or other salts in warm (not hot) bath water, rinse off, and pat dry. With new breakouts it is impossibly painful for me to shower, rub my skin, and most OTC itch creams and lotions don't work on me. But instead of creams, I switched to skin oils (Jojoba, olive oil my favorites but also other oils are worth a try for your skin, plus you can add soothing essential oils like tea tree oil) My RX creams are Triancimilone and Clobetasol. I alternate them as some days one works better than the other, so have more than one "go to itch cream". Get outside and get some full sun (15 minutes of noon day sun makes all the Vitamin D your body needs and helps you heal more), I feel getting lots of sleep at night is best way to heal. For me, the itch monsters always are out in force as soon as the sun goes down, so I bath at night, put on fresh oil and itch products, give them time to soak in. Then I take CBD gummy, trazadone and melatonin to help me sleep at night an especially, to stay asleep - otherwise, I would be itching and scratching. If you can sleep 8-10 hours a night for me, that is quality healing time for your lesions and rebuild fresh cells (like skin cells).

I am getting new ones on scalp, upper arms, back even where I cannot reach! Ugh! I thought maybe it was the weather, but it is not humid, nor extremely hot. Have not changed meds either. However, had huge influx of smoke and breathing issues this past week, more than usual due to Canada and upper MI fires. Alot more using inhaler than I have in a long time.
Strangely, top of one foot by ankle (one at a time, either right or left, not both at same time) itches like He!!, and if I am careful not to break skin, do not get lesions. (so far). I have tried with socks, without socks, different shoes, usually barefoot at home. I can find absolutely no common ground as to 'why'!

Joanne that is very close to my day/night time routines also! I take tizanidine (muscles) and Amitriptyline (night terrors) at night which helps me sleep. I used to be on trazadone. The oils I have found help for a more deep moisturizing of skin that any lotion, and it doesn't have all the 'extras' that many positions have. I do put nozema breathable lotion on in morning when I can get outside in the sun. I don't tend to feel like I'm in a frying oven as much like oils can make me feel when in sun.
The salts baths take too much out of my skin now, unless I'm covered in angry new open lesions. I can do Aveeno oatmeal bath, which helps lesions and gently helps skin.
