Do You Have Red Spots All Over Your Arms And Legs As Well As Bumps?

A MyPrurigoTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi, I was diagnosed with PN a year ago and my Dr wanted me to go on Dupixent. I did not want to because it is a very strong drug. I have been on it for 2 months and my itching has subsided although the red spots all over my arms and legs has not. Do you have the red spots as well as the bumps?

Yes, Maureen, I do have red spots, sores, and bumps, first they came on my right leg then my left arm and now my bright forearm. I am so embarrassed that I have been wearing soft long sleeves, which has also helped to keep me from scratching so much. I wonder if they will ever heal, will they leave scares? I have been reading past posts to see what others have tried. So n my any side effect, I already have eye issues and that is a major issue. I hope you find answers and me too. Blessings 😊

Prurigo nodularis (PN) can cause red spots and bumps on the arms and legs. These nodules may:

- Be the same color as your skin or look pink, red, or dark brown
- Appear as tiny dots or large, quarter-sized bumps.
- Be very itchy or painful.
- Break open and start bleeding from too much scratching.
- Turn into flat spots Show Full Answer

If you believe you have these symptoms, it's important to consult a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment.

This question was directed to Maureen. I still haven't figured out how this site works

Do you mean like these? I have patches of "almost circles" that look like bruises in patches on my arms and legs. I am starting dupixent on Wednesday but I can't blame it on that because I haven't yet had any in my system.
