i ❤️ dupixent. it made my pn life bearable. i can sleep now, go out in public in short sleeves and take normal showers. i still have some uglies but i just treat them individually . i wonder if everyone is having a nodule biopsy? i think i will post that question. i hope the dupixent works for you. let us know!

All your comments are so interesting. Let me just say that although Dupixent doesn’t really help me, I have no side affects and I’ve not heard that anyone else really does. For some, it works great. Just a crapshoot!

Thanks John. I’ve been under the care of consultant dermatologist since Feb last year having developed PN in September 2022 and no diagnosis for 6 months. I agreed to try methotrexate as a last resort as nothing else worked. As well as the side effects I am concerned that there is a very real risk that my cancer may come back. I’ve had it 3 times and been in recession for 7 years. I’m hoping that I can convince the meds to let me try Dupixent. Praying that it works for you.

John8 it is Nemolizumab, & read that it would be available this month, but evidently was fake news! I was so beyond excited. I have been waiting, and even contacted the last Derma, one of the 8 total have seen in the last 15 years (so-called skin specialist), & as usual they know nothing. You can find out a lot of valuable information on this if you, You Tube as it will help you understand more about this horrific disease & this new drug. I have tried, and tried contacting the Derma that is featured on some of the You Tube sites as he & the Johns Hopkins Dermatology Department are the ones that got this much-needed drug study going in 2015. His name is Dr. Kwatra (sp?)! I left telephone msgs w/no response, and even emailed him w/no response! I will look on the specific You Tube by name that was so informative & will msg it to you.

That's great to hear your positive experience and very encouraging!
I have just taken delivery of my first consignment of Dupixent. It is in pen form, which I am due to be taught how to self administer.
I trust it's easy enough and guess you have no problem with that.
