Mary222-I was not on Dupixent last summer so I will be seeing if it is better for me this year as it was for Tina-Ambassador. Thank you Tina, I feel like I can at least give the sunshine a try this year. Mary, I will update if the sun goes easier on me. I am going to a funeral in Toronto soon, I do love your beautiful city.☀️🌦️☀️

My dermatologist said just the opposite, to get out into the sun. That it would help the lesions dry out. I guess we all read that UV light treatments are used for purigio. Docs use UV for eczema and other skin conditions. I'm in Naples,FL for the winters and my dermatologist said down here we have a built in UV. She said normally she tells her patients to use sun screen , but for me she wants me to get some sun everyday for 15-20 without sunscreen. I guess Vitamin D is good for purigio. For me, the sun helps clear up my sores. I guess you have to see what works for you.

@A MyPrurigoTeam Member I am so sorry for your loss. Safe travels and stay.
As to sun, go with what you feel. Try a little at a time, see how it goes. I would get a 'burn for today', gone tomorrow with dupixent many times.

I have had different experiences. Before any meds, it would feel like I was burning and popping out new nodules/itchy areas. With dupixent, I was great in the sun, as long as it wasn't humid. Off dupixent, thru Rinvoq and off shortly after, now on Adbry. This past year I had rosacea added to the mix. This year so far, it burns my face and hands so bad! I can barely wash my hands, so I think I have something else going on with hands.
