I am in a clinical trial study for nemolizumab (NEMO), I have been in it for over 2 years. It has worked very well for me. I have had PN since 2013 with severe symptoms of horrific sores and extreme itching. I have at the present time no sores or itching but lots of scars from the sores. This drug has been a blessing to me. I also had a friend with PN that was not as extreme as mine and it has helped her also. I highly recommend this treatment and hope it will help others as it has helped in.

Nemolizumab is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits interleukin (IL) IL-31 signaling. It's intended to provide safe and rapid relief from itch. The FDA has also accepted the European Medicines Agency's (EMA) Marketing Authorization Applications for nemolizumab in prurigo nodularis and atopic dermatitis.
The application for the prurigo nodularis indication includes data from two phase 3 trials: OLYMPIA 1 and OLYMPIA 2. In both of the OLYMPIA trial programs, the subjects saw rates of 26% and 38% in OLYMPIA 1 and 2, respectively, compared to 7% and 11% among those given a placebo.
