If Steroid Creams Only Alleviate PN And Don't Cure The Condition And Should Not Be Taken Long Term, Is There Any Point In Using Them?
I use emollients and find them really soothing.
How my dermatologist uses steroid creams/ointments: only use until the itching on the lesions or nodules begin to shrink and heal. Use on limited areas for a limited amount of time. The point is if you are unsure of the directions or usage of said cream) ointments, please ask your physician!!
I have a exema condition, and have been treated for it for twenty five years.
Then after trying a treatment using a common spice, ( clove powder ), and a liquid bandage, I've been able to make it almost dissappear, within a weeks time frame.
Not one of the four specialists in Fargo, Minneapolis, Bemidji, or Grandforks, has ever told me this would help me.
Even the so called experts with years of college behind them, just don't know.
Keenan, clove oil most likely is considered an alternative treatment or a recommendation passed down through the years by Grandma's. Physicians do not get that type of training in medical school. Neither do pharmacists. Hence the label alternative.
Thanks for the answers. My Dermatologist is certain that I have Discoid Excema which he says is treatable with emoluments, steroid creams and skin antibiotics. It sounds hopeful.
Make sense and I wouldn't use it
This Is A Dumb Question And I Know We Aren’t Supposed To Pick Or Scratch But How Do You Get The Nodules To Go Away?
Did Your Biopsy Actually Come Up Perigo Nodularus? Mine Come Up Itchy Spots. 3 Times. When My Dermatologist Saw It He Said Perigo Nodularus.
I Went To See A Dermatologist 10 Days Ago And Was Prescribed Dermovate Steroid Cream, A Skin Antibiotic And Emolument.
