Georgia, it did not work for me whatsoever besides everything else I have tried. Well said Georgia in your last post about most doctors! BTW, my reason for Derma appt last Thurs was to obtain the prescription for Nemluvio only as to be shot down as you have probably already read. I explained to her that my first lesion and/or nodule happened after the initial outbreak of Shingles and being given the old, ineffective vaccine Zostavax & almost 1 day to the month w/like the most horrible mosquito bite on my scalp only to be diagnosed as Eczema, hmm (sorry old news)! She asked where my Shingles were located & I told her the lower left of my back (waist), & she adamantly said no or the PN would be there, not on my scalp, hmmm! Me thinking that I strongly tend to differ as she must not realize or have studied up that research indicates it can be from your immunological and neurological systems become out of sync (aka whacked out), so my theory makes much more sense than her understudied & overlooked reason. As I knew that Shingles is most likely caused from the dreaded onset of extreme stress, and prior to my initial outbreak I was totally stressed to the max. I mean it tends to happen to us oldies who had Chicken Pox, but my son (had Chicken Pox also) has had Shingles approx 4-5 times in his 40's & the so-called specialists evidently don't realize that stress is a very real thing for people whether older or younger! Poor kid must have inherited my anxiety and stress issues 😥! Sorry, Georgia as hoping your Zombie like feeling will go away after quitting the Gab which I learned I had to wean myself off from it! AMEN Georgia isn't that the TRUTH! Like who knows our own bodies better than we do, & then we put it in their hands to help us and like you I am finding out more and more some are just out there hindering us!!!

Yes and it's on my allergies list, as well as Pregabalin, and Lyrica! My husband said (kiddingly, but half serious) if I brought any of those drugs home again there would be a divorce! I was on 2600 mg per day, and after I told a neurologist that I wanted to wean off, he said he sent a rx for 3800 mg to the pharmacy!!! I was basically a zombie, a shell of myself, as hub says. That doctor was only there a couple weeks...I'm glad! He was whacky!!

Thank you. My dermatologist doesn't look to see what other meds you are on. The possible side effects of all these meds and mixing scare me! You have to do it yourself. So many of us I am finding, have been under a lot of stress. The cause of pn? Bless you!
