You have a good weekend too! This hair loss, I can tell when an outbreak is coming, comb full. This pn sure comes from inside! Stay cool up there! Not far across the big pond in Cleveland!

Dupixent has been great for me. I have been 8 years trying to get help. I've had hair loss 7 years ago. I thought I would be bald. It all came back and thicker. 🙏Dupixent and Xolair.❣

Someone mentioned covid. Beauty shops say alot of people with the covid say their hair is falling out. I don't know, mine started long before any vaccinations.

Good morning
I too have been experiencing extreme hair loss which started at the exact same time as this PN started even B4 I knew/ was diagnosed with the PN
Coincidence?? I doubt it
I also developed severe anemia also at the exact same time so all 3 occurring at the same time must somehow be related in my opinion- too coincidental for them all 2 B independent of one another
It's a strane mysterious / mystery disease 4 sure
I'm still in the process of getting tests - ie. CT scans for causes of the extreme anemia and had a colonoscopy/ endoscopy as well 2 C if there is an gastrointestinal problem causing the anemia as iron supplementation did absolutely nothing over 6 months to help the anemia so my doctor is looking 2 C what else might be causing it
I have 2 C my dermatologist soon about the extreme hair loss as well but I'm sure the PN is connected 2 both of these are other issues as well since they all began at the exact same time
Hopefully will get some answers one of these days as I continue 2 be extremely fatigued with no energy & still losing massive amounts of hair and of course itchy nodules everywhere The steroid cream Taro-clobestral prescribed by my dermatologist is helping a lot - much much better than the original mild steroid cream my family doctor prescribed back in December - as he had no idea what this itchy rash even was. He does now! Lol so if any future patients present with something similar @ least he will know what 2 prescribe & refer them 2 a dermatologist immediately
It is definitely a misunderstood mystery disease 4 sure
I'd just like 2 get some answers to what causes PN in the first place??? Such a mystery More research & trial studies definitely needs to be done 4 sure & maybe some a treatment that works 4 everyone and possibly even a cure - wouldnt that B a miracle-- fingers crossed 🤞
Take care everyone
Have a nice weekend
Bye 4 now from Toronto 🍁
